Itinerary

DAY 1 - ARRIVALS AT MEXICO CITY AIRPORT
Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 - CITY TOUR AND CHAPULTEPEC
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll start the day with a tour of the Historic District to visit the Zócalo, one of the largest squares in the world. We’ll visit the Cathedral, the largest religious building on the continent since 1537, and the National Palace. We’ll also enjoy a panoramic view of the Central Post Office and the Palace of Fine Arts.
Next, we’ll head to Chapultepec, home to Chapultepec Castle, built in the 18th century. Although it was originally designed as a vacation home, it eventually became the residence of viceroys, emperors, and presidents. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy Chapultepec Forest, one of Mexico City’s most important green spaces. Overnight stay.
NOTE: Due to the political situation across the country, some governmental buildings might be closed o affected in their schedules and daily services.

DAY 3 - GUADALUPE BASILICA - PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACAN
Breakfast at the hotel. We begin with a visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe and the Pyramids of Teotihuacan, a Catholic shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Teotihuacan, which in Nahuatl means “The City of the Gods” or “the place where the gods are born,” is the place where the spiritual and material knowledge of the Mesoamerican peoples is concentrated; it represents the continent’s richest architectural, urban, and artistic expression. You will visit the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl. We will walk along the Avenue of the Dead, which was once the city’s most important thoroughfare, and at the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, we will view murals from that era. Lunch at a restaurant near the pyramids. The rest of the afternoon is free. Overnight stay.
Optional: Enjoy a unique experience on a hot-air balloon ride, where you can admire the stunning city of Teotihuacán and its majestic pyramids from above. An unforgettable way to take in this World Heritage archaeological site, surrounded by scenery that will take your breath away.

DAY 4 - CUERNAVACA - TAXCO – MEXICO CITY
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll visit parts of the states of Morelos and Guerrero. We’ll start in Cuernavaca, known as the City of Eternal Spring, which offers colonial architecture, a pleasant climate, lush vegetation, and its beautiful cathedral.
We’ll continue on to Taxco, the famous “City of Silver,” where we’ll stroll through its winding cobblestone streets, charming little squares, and numerous silver shops featuring both classic and contemporary designs. A true delight for the senses! Return to Mexico City. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 - CHOLULA – PUEBLA - CDMX
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll depart for Cholula, visiting Santa María Tonantzintla and San Francisco Acatepec, where you’ll see their beautiful Baroque churches with indigenous influences. Later, we’ll admire the world’s largest pyramid at the Cholula archaeological site, along with its 365 churches. We’ll continue on to Puebla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting its imposing cathedral in the main square and the Chapel of the Rosary, considered the eighth wonder of the art world. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 - XOCHIMILCO - COYOACÁN
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll start with a trajinera boat ride on Lake Xochimilco. The origins of Xochimilco date back to pre-Hispanic times. Xochimilco is particularly significant because of its chinampas. These were a type of raft made of wood and covered with soil, used to grow flowers and vegetables, turning Mexico-Tenochtitlan into a floating city.
We’ll continue to the iconic town of Coyoacán, which was an independent rural town within Mexico City until the 19th century. Here stands the home of the famous painter Frida Kahlo; her house served as a gathering place for artists and politicians of the time, including Leon Trotsky. We’ll visit this house, now a museum (admission included), which preserves the spirit and decor that Frida imbued in her famous “Casa Azul” (Blue House) where she was born, lived, and died. We’ll also visit Plaza Hidalgo, the main square with its bandstand and fountain, the cathedral, and the cobblestone streets lined with grand colonial-era mansions. Return to your hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 7 - CIUDAD DE MEXICO - CITY OF ORIGIN
Breakfast at the hotel. At a convenient time, transfer to Mexico City International Airport.
